DASH Chiropractic specializes in getting active people back to the activities they love as fast as possible! Dr. Sara Van Dyke, DC is the primary doctor at DASH. Her goal is to empower patients to learn how to get well from injuries and stay well! Dr. Van Dyke uses a patient-centered and movement-centered approach. She starts by determining the primary cause of the patient’s pain, and trying to trace it back to causative biomechanics. She has been educated in Neurodynamics, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Myofascial Release, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Release, and Fascial Manipulation. Dr. Van Dyke also has a passion for nutrition and functional medicine and has taken coursework in those areas outside her coursework from Chiropractic School and her Kinesiology Bachelor’s Degree work.

Dr. Van Dyke has always been an active person and was motivated to become a chiropractor when dealing with running-related injuries in high school and college. She knows firsthand how frustrating and debilitating an injury can be, especially to athletes. That motivated her to learn as much as possible to make sure that others did not have to suffer the same way as she did. Dr. Van Dyke currently competes as a middle distance runner for Cal Coast Track Club. She graduated in 2019 with her Doctorate in Chiropractic (DC) from Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU). At SCU, she was part of the Sports Medicine program and graduated with Sports Medicine Honors. Sara graduated Summa Cum Laude from SCU and also has a BS in Kinesiology and MBA from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she competed in Cross Country and Track. There are few things in the world that she loves more than helping patients!
